Frequently Asked Questions
Why does AutoCopier need Accessibility permission?
AutoCopier monitors the Cmd+V keyboard shortcut system-wide to detect when you paste. This allows it to automatically load the next line into your clipboard. The permission is only used for this purpose and no keyboard input is recorded or transmitted.
Where is my data stored?
All snippets are stored locally on your Mac at ~/Library/Application Support/AutoCopy/snippets.json. No data is sent to any server or cloud service.
Can I back up my snippets?
Yes. Your snippets are stored as a standard JSON file. You can back up or transfer the file at ~/Library/Application Support/AutoCopy/snippets.json.
The auto copy feature is not working?
Make sure you have granted Accessibility permission. Go to System Settings > Privacy & Security > Accessibility and ensure AutoCopier is enabled. You may need to restart the app after granting the permission.
